Unveiling a marker in memory of Elwood Higginbottom in Oxford, MS

On Saturday, October 27, at 2:00pm, the Lynching Memorialization in Lafayette County organization will be unveiling a marker in memory of Elwood Higginbottom in Oxford MS. Representatives of EJI and the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project at Northeastern Law School will be on hand, as well as several direct descendants of Elwood Higginbottom, many of whom live in and around Memphis.
