A revisiting of the April 7, 1968 worship service brought together in the immediate aftermath of the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Over 5,000 persons from the Memphis Faith Community attended under the leadership of Dr. James Lawson and Mr. John T. Fisher.  One of the fruits of the gathering was the eventual founding of MIFA (Metropolitan InterFaith Associaton).
