Please join Second Congregational Church for the celebration of 150 years of witness and service. Second Congregational Church is the fifth oldest African American Congregation in Memphis, Tennessee.  In 1868, they were the first church in the city to open as an interracial congregation, although such a thing was illegal at the time and the church faced constant hostility from the surrounding community.

The special service is at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2018.  Second Congregational is located at 764 Walker Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee  38126.
