LSP is excited to introduce our next Monday virtual meeting speaker, David Alan Johnson. David is a native of Brownsville, TN, and is a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Politics with a minor in Economics.
In March of 2019, he was selected as 1 of 41 Thomas J. Watson Fellows throughout the United States, for a project he independently designed exploring how countries reconcile with their past in Northern Ireland, Germany, Rwanda, South Africa, Chile, and Peru.
He served as Tennessee's Youth & College Division President for the NAACP, co-founded his University’s slavery project, and played varsity basketball leading his team to a conference championship.
He plans to pursue a career at the intersection of public policy and law.
