If you are interested in joining a courageous conversation, please email Jessica (jessica@lychingsitesmem.org) regarding our upcoming group study of My Grandmothers' Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Mending Our Hearts and Bodies, by Resmaa Menakem. This powerful book explains how white supremacy has brought about intergenerational trauma that runs across our society and into our minds and bodies. This explanation sets the stage for the introduction of exercises that offer a means of healing this trauma using body awareness. For more information, search online or watch this brief video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3ZGJ9hpRXo

While we go through this book together, we will create and share a safe space for each other, perform the body exercises, and support each other in the healing process. We plan to meet every two weeks starting on Wednesday, June 30 at 5 PM. Hope to hear from you!
