The only way to undo racism is to consistently identify and describe it—and then dismantle it. At its core, racism is a powerful system that creates false hierarchies of human value. Its warped logic extends beyond race to the way we regard people of different ethnicities, religions, even different sexes, gender identities, and body types. Racism intersects with class, culture, and geography. It shapes the way we see and value ourselves. Ibram X. Kendi offers a clear way through this prison-house taking us on a path to forming a just and equitable society.

This event is free and open to the public.
