Next Monday, March 23, from 5 - 7 pm, we will hold our first webinar via Zoom.
Participation will require each participant to download Zoom to their device from the Zoom website or appropriate device-based app store. It is PC, Mac and Android compatible and can be used on desktops, laptops, tablets, cell phones, etc.
On Monday evening, Rich Watkins and Pan Awsumb will give us an update on the process of acquiring the Equal Justice Initiative’s (EJI) Duplicate Monument for Shelby County.
On behalf of LSP, Rich and Pan’s committee is working to get permission from EJI to release our Duplicate Monument to us, so that eventually, it can be installed locally.
Our Zoom account allows a maximum of 100 participants, so if you want to participate, please sign up as soon as you can for that meeting on Monday. Just send an email to Jessica Orians (jessorians@gmail.com) letting her know you wish to join the ZOOM WEBINAR on March 23, as we will need to send you a meeting ID Number.
